Gerry Rayner holds the formal qualifications of Executive Master of Business Administration, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Agriculture (Honours) from the University of Western Australia. Gerry is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a Trustee of CEDA.

The range of services offered by Rayner Consulting Pty Ltd is based on the foundations of formal tertiary qualifications in business administration and science and some 22 years of practical experience in strategic leadership roles within the private sector.

Gerry has been an active participant in the Western Australian Chamber of Minerals & Energy for over 18 years, working with industry and government to contribute to development and improvement in regulatory framework and policy in a range of areas including environmental protection, safety, climate change and sustainability – holding roles such as Deputy Chair to the Environment Committee and Chair of the Climate Change Reference Group.

In addition, Gerry has been an active participant in the Australian Aluminium Council for over 12 years, working with industry and government at a national level in the areas of health, environment, climate change and sustainability.

Gerry is an active member of the Australian Institute of Management, The Institute of Forester’s of Australian and the Australian National Environmental Law Association. Other areas of contribution have included Advisory Board Committees for the School of Environment and Aquatic Science at Curtin University and the School of Science at Notre Dame University.
